Inspired by the flock of sheep at my parents' home in Beit Gamliel, this artwork captures a quiet rural landscape through my paper-cut illustration technique.
The composition was created from hand-painted torn paper, using negative space to define the flock as soft, organic silhouettes. The irregular edges, layered textures, and expressive paper fragments create an impressionistic quality, allowing the sheep to emerge through patches of color rather than precise outlines. This approach evokes a sense of movement and atmosphere, reflecting the constant motion of the flock while preserving the simplicity and warmth of the pastoral scene.
