Created for the Asif Exhibition at The Terminal for Design in Bat Yam, this series of three large-scale paper cut illustrations explores the traditional Shavuot ceremony at Kibbutz Lahav.

The works were developed through a process of small paper-cut sketches, which helped me explore composition, color relationships, and the visual language of each piece before creating the final large-scale illustrations. Using hand-painted papers that I prepared in advance, I built each work through layers of cut paper, transforming simple materials into detailed, textured compositions.

The series captures different emotional moments from a ceremony that has taken place in kibbutzim since their early beginnings, connecting generations through shared memories and rituals. The first piece depicts the baby dance — a symbolic moment where the newest members of the kibbutz community are presented during the celebration. The central and largest piece focuses on the children's excitement during the tractor parade. Instead of showing the tractors themselves, I chose to portray the collective anticipation and emotion surrounding the event. The final piece captures the quiet moment after the ceremony, as people disperse and the sun begins to set.
